Chiara Camoni is the Italian artist invited to take part in this second stage of ZegnArt / Art in Global Stores, a special line of action based on the idea of a decentralized collection to be housed in new Ermenegildo Zegna stores around the world. The project is focused on Italy’s finest creative talent. Curated by Cecilia Canziani and Simone Menegoi, with the coordination of Andrea Zegna, Art in Global Stores is a cycle of permanent works conceived specifically for the space that will house them and newly commissioned from Italian artists, who are asked to draw inspiration from the spirit and philosophy of the Zegna Group.
For the ZegnArt commission in Osaka, Chiara Camoni has created Senza titolo, stabkarte, a wall sculpture comprising many small shapes made from different colors of clay, strung on wires and attached to hooks, like skeins of yarn hung to dry.
