At Ermenegildo Zegna we recognise the importance of protecting the personal data of the users of our website (“Website”), and we pay special attention to the confidentiality of this information. That is why Ermenegildo Zegna applies a rigorous code of conduct in collecting and processing personal data in compliance with Italian legislative decree n. 196 of 30 June 2003 – Personal Data Protection Code (“Privacy Code”).

The user may use the Website without providing any personal information. 

The processing of the personal data of users who visit or consult the Website is limited to “browsing data”, that is, personal data that is automatically collected by the computer systems responsible for the management and operation of the Website and the use of Internet communication protocols. This type of data includes IP addresses and the domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the Website in addition to other parameters regarding the user’s operating system and computer environment. These data are used solely for obtaining anonymous statistical information about the use of the Website, to make sure that it works properly and to improve the quality of the services offered. Users who choose to register on the Website will periodically receive the newsletter sent electronically. This newsletter contains information about new Website content and events. Users can choose at any given moment to cancel their registration, and Zegna will not send any further communications (to stop receiving advertising information and newsletters simply send an email (from the email address used for the registration) to writing “UNSUBSCRIBE” on the subject.

Additionally, with the user’s free and voluntary consent, personal data may also be used to inform users of special events, promotions, advertising campaigns, market research and other marketing initiatives. To this end the user’s personal data may be communicated to our service providers and related organisations, which in some cases are located abroad.


Zegna discloses user personal data within the limits and with the means set forth in this Privacy Policy and in the notice provided when the user is asked to give information, and in the full respect of the consent expressed by the user when collecting data, when required by the Privacy Code.

Personal data is processed with and without electronic means, in compliance with the security measures for reducing the risk of data destruction and loss, including accidental, of unauthorised access, of unauthorised processing or processing not in compliance with the purposes for which the data were collected.

The user is responsible for providing his or her personal data, and Zegna is not responsible for any illegal use of the data due to events outside of its direct control.

The user’s personal data will be processed only by the processors duly authorised and controlled by Zegna in order to prevent unauthorised access to data and illegal processing by third parties. The persons responsible for data processing are listed in the notice provided to the user. They may include data processing, call centre, sales and marketing personnel.

In addition, the user’s personal data may be disclosed to the police or judicial authorities when required by law, regulations or European legislation.
For purposes connected to the operation of the Website and its services and, with the prior consent of the user, for commercial purposes, the user’s personal data may be disclosed to other companies of the Zegna group inside and outside the European Community.
